Short version: Rill collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Everything you do stays on your device.
Nothing. Rill does not collect, store on any server, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no user accounts and no login.
Your game progress — levels solved, your daily streak, which past puzzles you've completed, and your settings — is saved locally on your device (in the app's local storage). It never leaves your device and is not visible to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app's data, removes it. An optional "backup code" lets you copy your progress to restore it yourself after a reinstall — it is generated and used entirely on your device.
If you choose to share a result, Rill hands a short piece of text to your device's own share sheet — you decide whether and where to send it. We are not involved in that and receive nothing.
On the web version, an optional "Support the dev" link opens our page on Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/onemechdev). If you choose to leave a tip, payment is handled by Ko-fi and its payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or payment details — only that a tip was received. Tipping is entirely optional and unlocks nothing; the whole game is free.
Rill is suitable for all ages and contains no ads, no purchases that affect gameplay, and no data collection, so it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
The app requests no sensitive device permissions and contains no advertising identifier.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new date.
